Mom: Hey OK that sounds cool! So what's the issue?

You can just feel your talking stage sitting next to you hearing every word, but it's too late now

You: The issue lies in funding this little excursion... I've calculated the things I want to do and the some other things I need for the week and...

You:...is there any way I could have like, just like, 200 bucks to help me out?

Ah man this is awkward. A quick silence comes and you know what she's gonna say. She's definitely gonna tell you that you need to be more responsible about your money. You know you'll get a job soon but like come on this trip is gonna be so fun. On top of that your situationship is RIGHT THERE. Whatever.

Mom: Proceeds to lecture you about getting your money right Ok, you know I'll give you some money for the weekend, but I think 200's a lot do you really need all that? How about 100, there's no way you have absolutely nothing to your name right now

Little does she know you in fact do have almost nothing. 100 probably is not enough but there's no way you're gonna sit there and argue it back up to 200 in this situation

You: Actually you know what, 100 is perfect! Thank you so much Mom I promise I'll make it up to you!

You finish up your conversation with your Mom and just in time, Meadows rolls around and you get off with your little friend and continue on with your day
